Transportation

- From Innsbruck Airport (travel time ca. 15 - 20 minutes)

Take a taxi from the Innsbruck airport directly to Hotel Grauer Bär (price about 13 Euros). You also can take the F bus to "Landesmuseum" (every 15 minutes, from 8 p.m. every 30 minutes). From the bus stop, go straight on into Sillgasse. At the end of this road, turn left into Universitaetsstrasse and you will then find the hotel located 150 m on the right hand side.

- Munich Airport (travel time ca. 2-3 hours)

In Munich aiport take the train S8 to "Munich East" train station and change there to a train to Innsbruck. For a train schedule, please check http://www.oebb.at/. After arrival at the main train station of Innsbruck take a taxi directly to Hotel Grauer Bär (price about 8 Euros) or see Coming by train.

- Coming by train

After arrival at the main train station of Innsbruck take a taxi directly to Hotel Grauer Bär (price about 8 Euros) or walk or go with bus from the main train station (ca. 10 - 15 minutes): Cross the train station square diagonally to the right. At Hotel Europa turn into Brixner Strasse. At the 1st intersection, go right into 1 Meinhard-Strasse. Go straight on and cross Museumsstrasse, following Sillgasse. At the end of this road, turn left into Universitaetsstrasse and you will then find the hotel located 150 m on the right hand side.

Several buses (Line A, Line R and Line 4) go to the bus stop nearest Hotel Grauer Bär "Polizeidirektion" (Federal Police Headquarters).

- Coming by car

You can reach Innsbruck also via the motorway "Inntal Autobahn A12".

Coming from the east

Please take the motorway exit "Innsbruck OST" and follow the signs to the city centre (ZENTRUM). At the second set of traffic lights turn right into the road Amrasserstrasse and follow this road for about 2 km. You should then pass the shopping mall SILLPARK on the right hand side. Drive straight on under the railway bridge into the road Museumstrasse. After 200 m turn right into Sillgasse. At the end of this road turn left into Universitaetsstrasse and you will then find the hotel located 150 m on the right hand side.

Coming from the west

Please exit the motorway at "Innsbruck WEST" and follow the road named Egger-Lienz-Strasse to the centre (ZENTRUM). After about 1 km turn left into Holzhammerstrabe and turn right at the crossroads into the road named INNRAIN. Follow this road for 1.5 km and drive straight ahead into Herzog-Otto-Strasse. After 200 m turn into Herrengasse and after 100 m turn right into the Rennweg. After 100 m turn left into the Universitaetsstrasse and you will find our hotel located 200 m on the left hand side.
