Visa Information:
The Association for Computing Machinery does not issue formal invitation letters for visas to attend ACM sponsored conferences. ACM can however issue a visa support letter. For Visa support letters, please send all requests to the Office of SIG Services supportletters@acm.org with the following information:
- Your name as it appears on your passport,
- Current postal mailing address,
- The name of the conference you wish to attend,
- Your Registration Confirmation Number, and
- If you have any papers accepted for the conference, please provide the title and indicate whether you are the "sole author" or a "co- author"
Please note visa support letters are issued via email by PDF and the original is mailed to your current postal address.

New York City can be reached via:
- Path train to World Trade Center (fare $2.00). It takes 20-30 minutes.
- Path train to 33rd street mid-town (fare $2.00) that arrives at New York 32nd street and Broadway. It takes approximately 20-30 minutes (It requires a transfer at Journal Square station from Wall Street bound Path train to Mid-town path train)
- NJ Transit Train (fare $5.00) from Penn Station Newark that arrives at New York Penn Station (32nd Street and 7th or 8th Avenue) This is adjacent to Madison Square Garden.
- NJ Transit Train (fare $5.00) from Newark Broad Street Station that arrives at New York Penn Station (32nd Street and 7th or 8th Avenue) This is adjacent to Madison Square Garden. (Newark Broad Street Station is 2 blocks away from the conference site.)
Banquet:
Curise ship Tour of Hudson River
Midtown Hudson River Cruise ship tour is scheduled on Thursday June 21, 2012 7pm – 10pm
- Transportation:
A bus (DeCamp Chater Bus) will pick up the participants, leaving the conference site at 5:30pm to NJ Hoboken Lincoln Ferry Station. The return bus will pick up at 10pm after the tour, and return to the conference site around 10:30pm. We will board the ship at 6:30pm and the ship will depart at 7pm, returning back to the ferry station at 10pm.
- Dinner:
Buffet Dinner onboard is served in the cabin with general public.
- Entertainment:
The ship provides Broadway musical entertainment by crew members, and the dance floor is open for the participants and other general public.
