Visa Information:

The Association for Computing Machinery does not issue formal invitation letters for visas to attend ACM sponsored conferences. ACM can however issue a visa support letter. For Visa support letters, please send all requests to the Office of SIG Services supportletters@acm.org with the following information:

1. Your name as it appears on your passport,
2. Current postal mailing address,
3. The name of the conference you wish to attend,
4. Your Registration Confirmation Number, and
5. If you have any papers accepted for the conference, please provide the title and indicate whether you are the "sole author" or a "co- author"

Please note visa support letters are issued via email by PDF and the original is mailed to your current postal address.

Ship tour is scheduled on Thursday June 13, 2013 - from 6pm to 10pm.

- Transportation:

A bus will pick up the participants, leaving the conference site at 5:00pm to Amsterdam Port. The return bus will pick up at 10pm (at Volendam Port) after the tour, and return to the conference site around 10:45pm.

- Dinner:

Dinner is served onboard.

- Clothing advice:

On a sailing ship you are always dependent on the weather conditions. We therefore recommend that you dress appropriately. It is prudent to wear shoes with rubber soles in both good and bad weather. If the weather is good, remember to take suntan lotion and possibly sunglasses and/or a cap or hat. If the weather is less good it is handy to take rain clothes.
